Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 21, 2026
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser that help websites remember you between pages and visits. This page explains exactly which cookies Sleepy Hello uses and how you can control them.
Cookies we use
- Session and sign-in cookies — keep you signed in to your account securely. Essential; the site's account features can't work without them.
- Cart cookies — remember what's in your shopping cart while you browse and between visits. Essential to shopping.
- Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) — help us understand visits, product interest, shopping carts, and purchases while analytics is on. Analytics starts automatically on a browser without a saved choice. These cookies are configured to expire after up to 13 months. Their expiry may refresh when you visit with analytics enabled.
- Microsoft Clarity cookies (_clck and _clsk) — help connect your public-page interactions into heatmaps and session replays while analytics is on. The _clck cookie remembers Clarity's browser identifier and preferences for up to one year; _clsk groups page views into a session for up to one day. Their expiry may refresh during enabled visits. Clarity follows the same Analytics control as Google Analytics, and its advertising storage is disabled.
- Analytics preference — your browser stores its initial setting and any choices you save so you do not need to repeat them on each page. Clearing cookies and browser storage can remove saved choices; review these controls afterwards.
- Meta identifiers (_fbp and _fbc) — browser and genuine ad-click identifiers used while advertising is on to measure Facebook and Instagram ads. Advertising starts automatically on a browser without a saved choice, unless Global Privacy Control is present. These identifiers may last up to 90 days. Meta Pixel browser events, additional page and product information, and server Conversions API purchases follow the same advertising setting.
- Privacy receipt (sh_measurement_consent) — a signed, essential preference reference lasting up to 180 days. It lets our server honor your settings and stop queued advertising events when you opt out. It contains no email address. We distinguish automatic initial settings from choices you save; an automatic setting is not recorded as your affirmative consent.
- Checkout return (sh_checkout_return) — a short-lived, signed checkout reference, lasting up to 24 hours, that lets you reload your order confirmation without keeping a private checkout token in the page address. It still requires the matching shopper session.
- Optional email personalization — for marketing subscribers, browser personalization starts on where no saved withdrawal exists. Saved refusals on this browser or your email contact are kept. The sh_email_identity cookie links pages and cart activity to your subscription for up to 30 days. The signed sh_email_personalization cookie records your choice or the site default for up to one year; it contains no email address or customer identity. This setting never subscribes you to marketing emails.
- Browser storage — wishlist and compare selections live in your browser's local storage on your device, not on our servers; clearing browser data resets them.
Analytics and advertising are your choice
Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Meta advertising begin automatically on a browser without saved privacy choices, without an acceptance click or tracking popup. Turn Analytics off to stop Google Analytics and Clarity, or turn Advertising off to stop Meta measurement. Global Privacy Control keeps advertising off. Saved refusals are preserved. Neither setting affects checkout. The Advertising control covers browser events, Meta's AI-assisted collection of additional page and product information, and eligible server-side purchase measurement.
Managing cookies
Use the separate controls on this page, or choose Essential only. Withdrawal stops future optional collection and pending Meta sends once the server saves your choice. Turning Analytics off also clears this site's Clarity cookies. It does not erase information already sent to Google, Microsoft, or Meta. If a save fails, retry so your browser and server choices stay in sync. You can also stop email personalization on the Email preferences page; this does not unsubscribe you from marketing emails.
Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies in its settings. Keep in mind that blocking essential cookies will sign you out and empty your cart — the store can't function without them.
