COSRX prints a bracketed sub-name under the title on both the bottle and the carton: cent(e)lla and allantoin. The panel behind that pairing is short, and it reads in the order you would expect from a fluid this light. Water leads. Centella asiatica extract follows at a stated 42.4%, a figure the brand publishes on its own key-ingredient slide rather than leaving to the marketing copy.

Sixteen entries is the whole list, and COSRX counts them itself on the back of its product imagery. Red algae extract comes next at 8,100ppm, sugarcane extract at 4,600ppm. Allantoin lands fourteenth. Madecassoside sits fifteenth on a line of its own rather than folded into the extract above it, because one isolated cica compound and a whole-plant extract are not the same material.

Panthenol closes the list. COSRX describes B5 as the ingredient that defines the Hydrium range, but on this particular panel it is sixteenth of sixteen, below madecassoside, and the brand leaves it off its own key-ingredient slide. Its Hydrium stablemate, the green tea gel cream, declares panthenol eighth of twenty-two.

What comes out of the dropper is watery rather than a serum with any body to it. Two or three drops before moisturizer is the brand's own direction, and it adds that the neck, chest and hands can take it too. Nothing across the sixteen is a fragrance, an essential oil or an alcohol.

Does the 42.4% refer to centella alone or to the whole cica set?

COSRX's own key-ingredient panel puts 42.4% against centella asiatica extract by itself, with red algae at 8,100ppm and sugarcane at 4,600ppm listed separately beside it. Older copy on this page merged that figure with madecassoside, which the brand's panel does not do. Madecassoside is declared on its own line further down, and the two are separate label identities rather than one combined percentage.

How does this differ from the Hydrium Triple Hyaluronic ampoule?

They share a range name and a 40ml dropper bottle and very little else. This one runs water, centella asiatica extract, dipropylene glycol. The Triple Hyaluronic runs water, glycerin, butylene glycol, and carries three hyaluronates plus gluconolactone and lactobionic acid. None of those appears here. COSRX aims that bottle at dry, dehydrated skin, and this one at skin that runs sensitive and warm.

Why is panthenol last if B5 defines the Hydrium range?

COSRX does describe panthenol as the range's key ingredient, and that statement is about the range rather than this particular bottle. Here panthenol is sixteenth of sixteen, sitting below madecassoside, and the brand's own key-ingredient graphic names centella, algae and sugarcane instead. The green tea gel cream in the same range puts panthenol eighth of twenty-two, so the range statement is not evenly true across it.

Is madecassoside just another word for centella extract?

No, and this formula declares both, which makes the distinction easy to see. Centella asiatica extract is the whole-plant material sitting second at 42.4%. Madecassoside is one defined triterpenoid compound associated with that plant, listed fifteenth on a line of its own. Can I use it when I have active breakouts?

COSRX positions it that way, describing the ampoule as usable on active acne where hydration is wanted without irritation.
