SKIN1004's Tone Brightening Cleansing Gel Foam is the water-based wash in the Madagascar Centella range. A clear, slippery gel squeezes out of the 125ml tube and turns into a dense, close-textured foam the moment you work it between wet palms, lifting sunscreen, surface sebum and the day's grime before rinsing away without a film.

The lather comes from an amino-acid and amphoteric blend — potassium cocoyl glycinate, disodium cocoamphodiacetate and sodium lauroyl glutamate among them — with citric acid holding the balance. The brand says the finished wash sits near the pH of healthy skin. Madagascar centella asiatica extract and madecassoside appear mid-panel, with niacinamide, panthenol and a vitamin C derivative further down.
