What kind of finish does it leave on the lips?

It has a buttery, ultra-light glide and leaves a dewy, high-shine finish rather than a matte one.

Can I build up the color?

Yes. The tint is buildable, and additional layers increase the color payoff.

How should I apply and reapply the balm?

Twist the base to expose the balm, then apply it directly to your lips. Reapply and layer as needed throughout the day; additional layers deepen the color payoff.

Is it a suitable alternative when regular lipstick or tint feels drying?

It suits shoppers who find conventional lipstick or tint drying. The balm is intended to condition dry lips and leave them feeling softened and smoothed.

Which four shades are available on this listing?

The individually sold shades are 01 Authentic, 04 Brave, 11 Low-Key and 12 Alluring.

Is the balm marketed as vegan?

Yes. Authentic Lip Balm is offered as a vegan formula.

Do all four shades have the same ingredient list?

No. The declarations vary by shade. For example, madecassoside is listed only for 11 Low-Key and 12 Alluring, while bromelain and papain are listed only for 01 Authentic and 04 Brave.

Does it contain shea butter?

Shea butter isn’t listed in the ingredient list for any of these four shades.

PRODUCT DETAILS

When conventional lipstick or tint feels drying, Authentic Lip Balm offers buildable tinted color with conditioning care. This solid balm pairs lip color with a formula intended to condition dry lips.

Its buttery, ultra-light glide and dewy, high-shine finish give your lips a glossy look rather than a matte one. The tint is buildable, so its color payoff can deepen with additional layers.

The shades are individually sold, not bundled as a set. Choose 01 Authentic for natural pink, 04 Brave for vibrant pink-toned red, 11 Low-Key for mauve petal pink or 12 Alluring for plum pink. Each shade takes pink in its own direction.

The balm helps dry lips feel softened and smoothed, and its formula includes moisturizing plant oils. It is also offered as a vegan formula. A little color, a little care, in the same balm.
