How does the texture change, and how does skin feel afterward?

The balm melts into an oil as it meets your skin, then becomes a milky emulsion when water is added. After rinsing, skin feels moisturized and smooth without tightness.

Do I need to follow it with a second cleanser?

Not necessarily. It is designed as a first-step makeup cleanser, but a second cleanse is not required. Follow with another cleanser if you still feel residue after rinsing.

How much should I use, and how many uses does the refill provide?

For a full face of makeup, use about 1.5 g—approximately one fingernail segment. At once-daily use, the estimated 44 g fill provides about 30 uses, though the total varies with the area, amount and frequency of use.

Is it suitable for sensitive or acne-prone skin?

It is listed for all skin types, including sensitive and dry skin. The finished balm has undergone sensitive-skin suitability and non-comedogenic testing relevant to sensitive or acne-prone skin.

Is the cleansing balm scented?

It is described as unscented and contains no artificial fragrance or artificial colorant.
