The bottle holds two distinct layers. Volcanic ash powder absorbs excess oil and sebum, while the water phase contains 1% PHA to lift away dead skin and help smooth rough texture. Gluconolactone is the key PHA ingredient, and arginine adds moisturizing support to the balancing formula. A thorough shake brings the powder and water together before each use.
Once applied, the toner leaves skin with a smooth, matte finish rather than a sticky layer. Use it with a cotton pad for a light sweep over the face, or press it in gently with your hands. The formula stays on, so there is no need to rinse. It is suitable for all skin types, though its clearest fit is oily skin or skin that feels dehydrated beneath surface shine.
