Medicube Night Wrapping Mask vs PDRN Gel Mask: wrap for regular use, sheet for occasions
Updated October 22, 2026
Buy the Medicube Collagen Night Wrapping Mask, 75 ml if you want a mask you can use several nights a week: it is an unscented peel-off gel that goes on over your night cream, and it works out to well under a dollar a use. Buy the Medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Gel Mask, 4 sheets if you want an occasional hydrogel sheet with a longer ingredient list, including niacinamide, salmon PDRN, hydrolyzed collagen and peptides, at about $5 a sheet.
The two share the word "collagen" and not much else: one is a gel you spread on and peel away in the morning, the other a two-piece jelly sheet you wear for about three hours or overnight.
This is a researched comparison of current Sleepy Hello product pages and Medicube's US site, checked October 2026. We haven't worn or tested either mask; texture descriptions come from Medicube and our product pages, and the buying advice comes from comparing formulas, directions, sizes and prices. For a closer look at the wrapping mask on its own, read our Collagen Night Wrapping Mask review.
Which Medicube collagen mask is best?
For most people, the Collagen Night Wrapping Mask is the better first buy, because it slots into the routine you already have and one 75 ml container covers many nights. The PDRN Pink Collagen Gel Mask suits a set occasion: a sheet you put on, wear while you do something else, and lift off. Medicube doesn't print ingredient percentages for either, so neither is "stronger" in a way the labels let us measure.
Pick the Collagen Night Wrapping Mask if:
you want a final evening step that sits over your cream and helps limit moisture loss overnight
you prefer an unscented formula with a short, simple ingredient list
you plan to mask two or more nights a week
you want the lower cost per use, at about 23 cents per ml
Pick the PDRN Pink Collagen Gel Mask if:
you mask once a week, or the night before a day that matters
you want niacinamide, sodium DNA (PDRN) and peptides in one product
you like a visual cue: Medicube says the sheet turns from pink to clear as you wear it
you don't mind paying about $5 for each use
What is the difference between the Medicube Collagen Night Wrapping Mask and the PDRN Pink Collagen Gel Mask?
The main difference is format: the wrapping mask is a gel that dries into a film on your face, while the gel mask is a ready-made hydrogel sheet. The formulas differ too.
The Night Wrapping Mask. Its ingredient list starts with water, polyvinyl alcohol, glycerin, agave americana stem extract, sodium hyaluronate, 1,2-hexanediol, caprylyl glycol and polyglyceryl-10 laurate. Polyvinyl alcohol is a film former, the ingredient that lets the layer dry and peel. Glycerin and sodium hyaluronate are humectants, which means they draw water into the top layer of skin.
Further down come glucose, fructose and fructooligosaccharides (more water-binding sugars), ceramide NP, a lipid that is part of skin's own barrier, tocopherol (vitamin E) and, near the very end, collagen extract. There is no niacinamide, no PDRN and no fragrance on the list. The product page describes the film as lightweight and breathable, and says the formula is unscented, with no artificial fragrance or artificial color.
The PDRN Pink Collagen Gel Mask. Its list starts with water, glycerin, methylpropanediol, acrylates/ethylhexyl acrylate copolymer, niacinamide, chondrus crispus powder, 1,2-hexanediol, butylene glycol, betaine and carob gum. The copolymer, the red seaweed powder and plant gums give the jelly sheet its body. Niacinamide (vitamin B3) in fifth place is a meaningful part of the formula, though Medicube doesn't publish the percentage.
Later on the list are allantoin, panthenol, adenosine, hydrolyzed collagen, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), sodium DNA, which is how salmon PDRN appears on an ingredient label, and about a dozen peptides, among them acetyl hexapeptide-8, copper tripeptide-1 and palmitoyl pentapeptide-4. No fragrance appears on the list. Each box holds four sealed 28 g sheets, each cut into an upper and a lower piece.
In both, collagen is a moisturizing, skin-conditioning ingredient on the surface; it doesn't add to the collagen in your skin. If fine lines are part of why you're shopping, both masks work through hydration, and the gel mask carries the longer peptide list.
One practical warning: Medicube doesn't recommend using the hydrogel sheet with a device that has a sheet-mask mode.
How long do you leave the Medicube PDRN gel mask on?
Leave the PDRN Pink Collagen Gel Mask on for about three hours during the day, or sleep in it overnight. Our product page says around three hours, a little longer if skin still feels thirsty. Medicube's US product page says three to four hours or until the sheet turns transparent, while its FAQ gives one to three hours, so the pink-to-clear change is the simplest cue to follow.
Put it on after cleansing and your toner or serum. For overnight wear, Medicube says to make it the last step of your routine. Smooth the upper piece across the eye area and forehead and the lower piece across the cheeks and chin. It's one sheet per use; the product page suggests keeping the small eye and mouth cut-outs for your neck or under-eyes.
The Night Wrapping Mask runs differently. Finish your routine through cream, then spread an even layer as the last step, away from your eyebrows, hairline, eyes and lips. Let it dry for about 15 minutes, sleep in it, and in the morning peel it from the edges or rinse with lukewarm water. The product page says a slightly thicker layer peels more cleanly, and that the dry film is designed not to transfer to your pillow.
Can you use the Medicube Collagen Night Wrapping Mask every night?
Yes: Medicube sets no nightly or weekly limit for the Collagen Night Wrapping Mask on the pages we checked, so you can, though our take is to start at two or three nights a week and build up if your skin stays comfortable. Nothing on its ingredient list is an exfoliating acid or a fragrance. The closest official frequency guidance is for its sibling, the PDRN Pink Caffeine Overnight Wrapping Mask, which Medicube directs three to four times a week, and daily in dry seasons or winter.
If peeling a film every morning feels like too much tugging, rinse it off with lukewarm water instead; the brand gives both options. If a new product brings stinging, itching or a rash, stop using it.
Which Medicube mask costs less per use?
The Collagen Night Wrapping Mask costs far less per use. It is $16.99 for 75 ml at Sleepy Hello, checked October 2026, about 23 cents per ml. Medicube doesn't say how many applications a container holds; by our own rough arithmetic, at 2 to 3 ml a layer, that is roughly 25 to 37 nights, or 45 to 70 cents a night.
The PDRN Pink Collagen Gel Mask is $19.99 for four single-use 28 g sheets at Sleepy Hello, checked October 2026, so $5.00 a wear, roughly seven to eleven times as much. One sheet a week comes to about $20 a month; a wrapping mask container used three nights a week lasts about two to three months.
What are the other Medicube wrapping masks for?
The Medicube Collagen Milk Toning Wrapping Mask, 75 ml is a short mask, not an overnight one. You spread it on after toner and moisturizer, let it dry for 20 to 30 minutes, then peel or rinse it away; the product page says to remove it once dry rather than sleep in it, and highlights 130 Da collagen, 5% niacinamide, glutathione and milk protein extract (from cow's milk). The list also includes titanium dioxide and kaolin, both mineral powders, and jojoba oil. Further down are anise and lemongrass oils, which are fragrant plant oils. It is $17.99, about 24 cents per ml, checked October 2026: a short glow mask before plans, not a nightly step.
The Medicube PDRN Pink Caffeine Overnight Wrapping Mask, 75 ml is the overnight wrapping option with PDRN. Its list starts with water, glycerin, glycereth-26, polyvinyl alcohol and niacinamide, and goes on to include sodium DNA, caffeine, several forms of hyaluronic acid, peptides and collagen. Synthetic fluorphlogopite and titanium dioxide give it the pearl sheen the product page describes, and the list includes rosa damascena flower oil, a fragrant rose oil. Directions are about 15 minutes to dry, then overnight, three to four times weekly. At $15.99, about 21 cents per ml, checked October 2026, it is the least expensive of these four Medicube masks, and the one to pick if you want PDRN in an overnight film.
Quick answers
Can you use the gel mask and the wrapping mask together?
We wouldn't stack them on the same night. At night both are designed as the top layer, so we'd use the gel mask on sheet evenings and the wrapping mask on the others.
Can you sleep in the Medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Gel Mask?
Yes. Both our product page and Medicube's US page give an overnight option: apply it as the last step before bed and lift it off when you get up.
Does the Collagen Night Wrapping Mask contain PDRN?
No. Sodium DNA, the label name for PDRN, isn't on its ingredient list. If you want PDRN in an overnight film, look at the PDRN Pink Caffeine Overnight Wrapping Mask.
Do these Medicube masks contain fragrance?
The Night Wrapping Mask and the PDRN Pink Collagen Gel Mask have no fragrance on their ingredient lists. The PDRN Pink Caffeine mask lists rose flower oil, and the Milk Toning mask lists anise and lemongrass oils.
Medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Gel Mask: a 28 g hydrogel sheet worn 3-4 hours or overnight, about $5 a use, and when the Night Wrapping Mask is a better buy.
