Green Tea
Specific tea-leaf formulas may support hydration and a smoother, less shiny look.
Innisfree's Green Tea Amino Acid Cleansing Foam is a water-based wash for morning and evening, and its whole job happens in about thirty seconds. A pea-sized amount of the thick white cream whips up into a dense, fine lather in wet palms, lifts away sweat, sebum and the day's grime, then rinses off with lukewarm water.
The lather comes from fatty acids and potassium hydroxide forming a classic soap base inside the tube, which is why the formula carries no sulfates at all. Glycerin sits second on the ingredient list, high enough to matter, and a glycine-derived cleansing agent softens the wash further. Innisfree describes the finish as non-stripping, and that is the point of the whole design: skin that does not feel tight while you reach for a toner.
Both halves of the name are on the list. Green tea appears as Camellia sinensis leaf extract, the Jeju leaf Innisfree built its reputation on. The amino acid side is a trio of free amino acids — arginine, aspartic acid and glutamic acid — with hyaluronic acid, ceramide NP and snow mushroom filling out the tail of the formula.
It is lightly scented, so skin that reacts to fragrance may prefer something plain. And it is a second-step cleanser: for a full face of makeup or long-wear sunscreen, Innisfree suggests an oil cleanser first.

Skin that feels tight and papery in the minute between rinsing and your first layer.
A film of sebum by mid-afternoon that makes the whole face look shiny.
Pores around the nose that look darker and more obvious once the day settles into them.
Washes that leave skin stinging or squeaky, so every step afterwards has to work harder.
A pea-sized amount is enough for a full wash, so one tube lasts a long time.
The foam is built on a fatty-acid soap base rather than on SLS or SLES.

Nothing is left sitting on skin to interfere with whatever you layer next.
