Is Mediheal good? Yes for sheet masks; its pads and serums sorted
Updated October 22, 2026
Mediheal is a good brand for sheet masks, and that is where we'd start: the N.M.F Ampoule Mask for dry, tight skin, the Teatree Essential Calming Mask for oily skin, and the Collagen Essential Mask if you want a firmer, plumper look. Its toner pads are a sensible daily alternative, while the newer PDRN and Madecassoside serums, cream and tone-up sun serum are competent but ordinary, worth buying only to fill a gap you already have.
Price is part of the appeal. A 10-pack works out to $1.70 to $2.40 per sheet at Sleepy Hello, and a 100-pad tub costs about 20 to 22 cents a pad. The catch is scent: every product in this guide lists fragrance, an essential oil or both, so read the ingredient list first if your skin objects to them.
This is a researched guide to current US brand and retailer information, checked October 2026. We haven't worn or tested these products; texture descriptions are Mediheal's, and the buying advice comes from comparing formulas, directions, sizes and prices.
Is Mediheal a good brand?
Yes, for what it is best known for. Mediheal builds each sheet mask around one clear goal (moisture, oil balance, a firmer look), soaks it in a generous dose of essence, and prints simple directions: 10 to 20 minutes on, then press in what's left. The three classic masks also share a sensible moisture base. Glycerin, betaine, trehalose (a sugar that holds water), panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) and a run of amino acids such as glycine, serine and proline appear in the N.M.F, Teatree and Collagen formulas alike.
Where Mediheal is ordinary is its newer, more ambitious lines. The PDRN Moisture Tone Up Sun Serum lists sodium DNA, the ingredient behind the PDRN name, at 1 ppm, which is one part per million. Our PDRN Lifting Serum product page doesn't print a full ingredient list at all, and Mediheal's site didn't show one either. Neither is a bad product, but the headline ingredient isn't the reason to buy either one.
Two more things to know before you build a routine around the brand. First, fragrance and essential oils run through the range: the N.M.F and Collagen masks list fragrance, the Teatree formulas use tea tree leaf oil, the PDRN serums use rose flower oil, and the pads and Madecassoside products list aromatic oils such as lavender, juniper, patchouli and rosemary. Second, figures such as "up to 72 hours" of hydration for the N.M.F mask are Mediheal's own claims; the page doesn't say how they were measured.
Which Mediheal sheet mask should I buy?
Buy the one that matches the problem you notice most: N.M.F for dryness, Teatree for oil and breakouts, Collagen for skin that looks flat or less bouncy. All three come as 10-packs of individually sealed sheets.
For dry or tight skin: N.M.F.THE N.M.F Ampoule Mask The Original, 10 masks holds 27 mL of essence per cotton-linter sheet and costs $23.99 at Sleepy Hello, checked October 2026, or $2.40 per mask. N.M.F is short for natural moisturizing factor, the mix of small water-binding molecules found in the skin's top layer. The list opens with water, glycerin, dipropylene glycol, glycereth-26 (a humectant), niacinamide, 1,2-hexanediol and hydroxyethyl urea (another humectant), then betaine, trehalose and panthenol after the thickeners. Further down are eight forms of hyaluronic acid, ceramide NP and squalane. Mediheal describes the essence as fresh and non-sticky with a dewy finish. Our product page notes that the formula contains fragrance, and Mediheal says the sheet is vegan certified.
For oily skin and breakouts: Teatree.Teatree Essential Calming Mask, 10 masks holds 24 mL per bamboo sheet and costs $16.99, or $1.70 per mask. After water, glycerin, 1,2-hexanediol, methylpropanediol, propanediol and hydroxyacetophenone (a skin-conditioning antioxidant that also supports preservation) comes tea tree extract. Tea tree leaf water, Lactobacillus ferment, tea tree leaf oil and 4-terpineol, a component of tea tree oil, follow later. Mediheal describes the finish as fresh, non-sticky and comfortably matte. Tea tree leaf oil is an essential oil, so this is the one to skip if essential oils sting.
For a plumper look: Collagen.Collagen Essential Mask, 10 masks also holds 24 mL per sheet and costs $16.99, or $1.70 per mask. Its seventh ingredient is hydrolyzed extensin, which Mediheal identifies as carrot collagen and prints at 1,200 ppm (0.12%). Soluble collagen, tremella polysaccharide (a snow-mushroom sugar that binds water), sodium hyaluronate, hibiscus flower extract and chlorella ferment follow. Collagen in a mask works as a moisture-binding, film-forming ingredient on the surface; it doesn't add collagen to your skin, and Mediheal's claims are about a firmer, plumper look. Fragrance is the last ingredient on the list. The bamboo-derived sheet is vegan certified and biodegradable; Mediheal notes that the certification covers the sheet, not the whole formula.
If you're still deciding, our take is simple. Dry skin starts with N.M.F, oily or breakout-prone skin with Teatree, and skin that looks less firm with Collagen, which ties with Teatree as the cheapest per sheet.
How often can you use Mediheal sheet masks?
Mediheal's directions for the N.M.F and Teatree masks say two to three times a week, or whenever your skin feels dry, tight or oily. The Collagen page gives the same 10-to-20-minute wear time but no weekly frequency, so two to three times a week is a reasonable default there too.
The steps are much the same for all three:
Cleanse and tone first, then open the pouch and use the sheet straight away.
Smooth it around the eyes, nose and mouth so it sits flat.
Take it off after 10 to 20 minutes. The sheet is single use, so discard it.
Pat the leftover essence into your skin instead of rinsing.
The N.M.F and Teatree directions add moisturizer and, in the morning, sunscreen.
A mask doesn't replace your moisturizer. It's an extra hydrating layer between toner and cream on the days you have 20 minutes.
Mediheal sheet masks vs toner pads: which is better?
Neither is better; they do different jobs. A sheet mask is an occasional 10-to-20-minute step with 24 to 27 mL of essence. A toner pad is a quick daily swipe: 170 mL of essence spread across 100 pads, or roughly 1.7 mL each. If you want something you'll reach for every morning, buy pads. If you want a once-or-twice-a-week moisture boost, buy masks.
Cost per use reflects that. At Sleepy Hello prices checked October 2026, a mask is $1.70 to $2.40 a sheet and a pad is about 20 to 22 cents. Mediheal also lets the pads stand in for a short mask: lay two or three on the cheeks, forehead or chin and leave them for five to 15 minutes, depending on the pad.
Collagen Ampoule Pad, 100 pads, $19.99: the hydrating one. Glycerin, betaine and allantoin sit high on the list, with collagen extract and adenosine further down. Geranium, lavender and Roman chamomile oils are listed. Mediheal suggests about 15 minutes as a pad mask.
Madecassoside Blemish Pad, 100 pads, $21.99: for the stage after a breakout, when a mark and rough texture are left. Niacinamide is the fourth ingredient, alongside centella extract, madecassoside, asiaticoside, madecassic acid and asiatic acid. It's a soothing formula, not an exfoliating one, and it lists juniper, mugwort, patchouli and rosemary oils. Mediheal suggests five to ten minutes as a pad mask.
Teatree Trouble Pad, 100 pads, $21.99: the oily-skin pad, built on tea tree leaf water, Lactobacillus ferment and tea tree leaf oil, and meant for daily morning or evening use.
Mediheal's newer serums, cream and sun serum
Mediheal has moved into leave-on skincare with PDRN and Madecassoside lines. PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a DNA-fragment ingredient, usually listed as sodium DNA, that has become a K-beauty trend. Madecassoside is one of the main compounds in centella asiatica. These products are fairly priced, but they're ordinary rather than standout.
PDRN Lifting Serum.PDRN Lifting Serum, 40 ml costs $16.99, about 42 cents per ml. Mediheal builds it around Bulgarian White Rose PDRN with rose flower water, rose flower oil, rose extract and plant-based squalane, and describes a stretchy, thread-like texture with a bouncy, non-sticky finish. The directions are one to two pumps over face and neck, morning and evening, then moisturizer, with SPF by day. Our product page doesn't print the full ingredient list and we couldn't find one on Mediheal's site, so the PDRN amount isn't published. If PDRN is the reason you're shopping, a serum that lists its ingredients in full is the better buy.
Madecassoside Blemish Repair Serum.Madecassoside Blemish Repair Serum, 40 ml is also $16.99. Mediheal pairs madecassoside and cica with niacinamide, panthenol and what it calls a 4-TECA complex, and positions it for post-blemish marks and visible redness. It describes the texture as watery, silky and non-greasy. The ingredient list includes juniper, patchouli, mugwort and rosemary leaf oils. It overlaps with the Madecassoside Blemish Pad, so most people need one or the other, not both.
Madecassoside Derma Cream.Madecassoside Derma Cream, 50 ml costs $19.99, or 40 cents per ml. The list opens with water, glycerin, squalane, caprylic/capric triglyceride (a light emollient), hydrogenated poly(C6-14 olefin), diglycerin, hydrogenated polydecene and niacinamide, with panthenol, madecassoside, ceramide NP, hyaluronic acid and centella extract further down. Mediheal calls it a lightweight capsule cream that absorbs without stickiness, and says it has completed non-comedogenic testing; that is the brand's claim. It also lists aromatic plant oils, including juniper, patchouli, mugwort and rosemary leaf oils. Apply it as the last step of your routine.
PDRN Moisture Tone Up Sun Serum.PDRN Moisture Tone Up Sun Serum, 50 ml costs $19.99 and is labeled SPF50+/PA++++. Its UV filters are titanium dioxide plus ethylhexyl triazone, terephthalylidene dicamphor sulfonic acid, diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate, polysilicone-15 and bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine. Red and yellow iron oxides give the pink "rosé" tone-up, which Mediheal describes as a smooth, primer-like base. Niacinamide is ninth, sodium DNA is listed at 1 ppm, and rose flower oil, citronellol and geraniol (fragrance components) are on the list. Apply it as the final skincare step and wash it off with your facial cleanser at night. Buy it if you want a tinted, makeup-friendly sunscreen; skip it if you prefer an untinted one or avoid fragrance components.
Which Mediheal product should I start with?
Start with a 10-pack of sheet masks, because that's what Mediheal does best and a pack costs under $25. Pick N.M.F if your skin feels dry or tight, Teatree if it gets oily, and Collagen if you want a firmer, plumper look.
Choose a pad instead if you know you won't make time for a 20-minute mask. The Collagen Ampoule Pad is the easy daily hydrating step; the Madecassoside Blemish Pad suits skin with leftover marks.
Leave the serums, cream and sun serum until you have a specific gap. If you already own a moisturizer you like, the Madecassoside Derma Cream isn't a reason to switch. If you want PDRN, look for a serum with a fully published ingredient list. And if you avoid both fragrance and essential oils, look elsewhere: every product in this guide lists one or the other.
Our shortlist, with Sleepy Hello prices checked October 2026:
Yes. Mediheal is a South Korean brand made by LNP Cosmetics, which the official Mediheal site lists in Seoul. The brand describes its approach as derma skincare that makes specialized dermatology easier to understand through research.
Is Mediheal good for sensitive skin?
Only if fragrance and essential oils don't bother you. Mediheal lists the N.M.F and Collagen masks as suitable for sensitive skin, but both list fragrance, and the Teatree mask uses tea tree leaf oil. Try any new product on a small area first.
How long should you leave a Mediheal sheet mask on?
Leave it on for 10 to 20 minutes, according to Mediheal's directions for the N.M.F, Teatree and Collagen masks. Then remove and discard the sheet and pat in the leftover essence.
Can you use a Mediheal sheet mask every day?
Mediheal's N.M.F and Teatree directions say two to three times a week, or whenever your skin feels dry, tight or oily. If you want a planned daily step from the brand, its toner pads are designed for that.
Are Mediheal sheet masks vegan?
Only the sheets are certified: Mediheal says the N.M.F cotton-linter sheet and the Collagen bamboo-derived sheet are vegan certified. The Collagen page adds that this doesn't cover the whole formula, and the N.M.F page names only the sheet.
